There is fear and tension in Aba, after an Hausa man who stabbed an Igbo man to death was set ablaze.
This tension is as a result of the burning to death of a man believed to be from the Northern part of the country after he allegedly stabbed an Igbo trader to death during an argument in the Ogbor Hill area of the town.
It was gathered that the two men had gotten into an argument over trading space at the Slaughter area and the argument soon degenerated into a fight which culminated in the Hausa trader stabbing the deceased with a dagger. The act drew the ire of other Igbo traders who descended on the murderer and burnt him to death.
The spin off effect of the double killing is said to have spiralled to other parts of the town with many running for their lives. Many of the Hausa traders in the area are said to be taking refuge in police and military barracks in the city.
