Nollywood actor, Joseph Benjamin, canvasses for kidney disease patient
Nollywood actor Joseph Benjamin is out on a mission to help raise funds for a young kidney disease patient.
The boy, Ernest Eke, according to the actor, is a 19-year-old child who still has life in front of him but has been brought down by the debilitating ailment and the Nollywood hunk is appealing to well meaning Nigerians to help out.
Hear is the message he sent via his Websta account:
"Good morning, I'll like to take a bit of your time, away from the clamour for change, or the fast-forward movement and have you think about good humanity, about the value of life, the plea to help young Ernest, no one's asking you to remove money you don't have in your bank account, neither are we asking you to just put up a dp, we are asking you to put yourself in his shoes and the shoes of his parents, the young lad is a human being like everyone of us, and although we might not share similar ideologies in terms of charity, we share something in common as human beings, the ability to get things done.
It's in this light that I appeal to each and every single one of you, to contribute any way you can to the progress that can help save this boy's life.
Remember you were once 19, with bright hopes and dreams for the future.
Think about it. Thank you and God bless you."
