This situation has thrown her family into confusion as they cannot raise the $6,500 (about N21.4m), needed for the surgery, and hence, have cried out for assistance from corporate bodies and well-meaning Nigerians to come to their aid.

According to the Oluwadare's family based in Ibadan, Oyo State, Victoria was diagnosed with a heart disease known as Atrial Septal Defect (ASD), with severe pulmonary hypertension at the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, by a Consultant Paediatric Cardiologist at the hospital, Dr. Oluwatoyin Ogunkunle.

Due to the severe nature of the ailment and problem of inadequate medical facilities in Nigeria as well as needed expertise, there is an urgent need to fly her to India for an immediate medical attention so save her life.

Consultations have been made with a hospital in the Asian country and the estimated cost for the treatment amounted to the whopping sum which her parents who are civil servants, cannot afford.
