A 24-year-old woman, Sharon Okafor, has been arraigned before Magistrate G. O. Amos of an Igbosere Magistrates’ Court sitting in Lagos State, for allegedly using the shards of a broken plate to slash the face of a restaurant's salesgirl, Comfort Jonah, following an argument over fried meat worth N400.

It was gathered that the Imo State born Okafor, a dealer in second-hand clothes, had gone to the bar known as Mama’s Bar located at Itedo, a suburb in the Lekki area of the state, with a man identified as Kingsley, who ordered for drinks and the meat.

After serving the customers, Jonah requested to be paid for the drinks and meat, as it was already 11pm and she was about closing and needed to make the account for the day.

But Okafor insisted that Kingsley should only make payment when they finished consuming what they had ordered for.

This allegedly caused an argument between the ladies when Jonah wanted to take the drinks and meat back and Okafor allegedly threw the plate on the salesgirl and when she retaliated, she used the broken plates to slash Jonah's face.
