Angry mob kills mentally deranged man who murdered brother in PH

A mob in Port Harcourt took the laws into their hands and brutally killed a mentally deranged man who murdered his own brother.

The late Adebayo Oyetayo was killed by his brother

An unfortunate incident took place in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, when a family lost two of its young men, one through the hands of a mentally deranged younger brother while the he himself was also brutally murdered him in a reprisal attack.

According to the report, the mentally unstable man known as African Michael Jackson in their Okene Street, Rumoukwurushi area of the state, had killed his brother, Adebayo Oyetayo Ismaila, by hitting him on the head with a hammer and when residents heard of the dastardly act, they rounded him up and beat him to stupor.

He was allegedly rescued by the police which took him into a protective custody but he later died from the serious injuries he sustained.

This is not the first time Port Harcourt will witness a jungle justice scene as a few weeks ago, a graphic video of a suspected thief being burnt alive became viral after a mob descended on him.

In August, another of such cases was reported in Calabar, Cross River State, where a man was also burnt alive for allegedly stealing a pot of soup.
