Man protests brother's death, sent to join him in the grave

Balongo Unogu has been killed at Angwan Ishaku, in the Katako area of the Barakin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State after he complained bitterly against the murder of his brother.

War mongering herdsmen

Edwin Unogu, Balongo's brother, was killed by suspected Fulani herdsmen on Sunday, June 21, along with two others, identified as Rahab Ishaku and Pam Gyang.

Balongo was said to have been trailed to his house by the killers, who snuffed life out of him.

Executive Director of Stefanos Foundation, Mr. Mark Lipdo, who deplored the spate of killings in the two local government areas, called on security agencies to urgently address the situation.

He said, “Killings are now rampant in the Barakinladi Local Government Area of Plateau State. On Sunday, Fulani terrorists killed three people Edwin Onogu, Idoma by tribe, Rahab Ishaku and Pam Gyang,at Angwan Ishaku, close to Katako area.

“Balongo Unogu, Edwin’s brother, who bitterly spoke against the murder of his brother, was also slaughtered in his house last night June 24.”
