Intoxicated lorry driver kills 2 people in Delta

The lorry driver reportedly ran away from the accident in a bid to avoid being lynched by a mob.

The drunk lorry driver killed a man and woman after losing control.

The victims include a woman who worships at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) and a commercial  motorcyclist named Akpojotor Russia.

Both were killed along Eku-Kokori road in Agbon Kingdom, Ethiope East Local Government Area of the state, Daily Post reports.

The lorry driver reportedly ran away from the scene of the accident for fear  of being lynched by an angry mob.

He was driving in a vehicle with the registered plate number, XB 700 UGH when he lost control and rammed the pair.

According to an eyewitness who spoke to the Daily Post News, the woman sustained severe injuries which led to her death.
