5-man gang arrested for selling human parts

A gang was on Tuesday arrested in connection to tomb-raiding incidents in Apete, Ibadan, Oyo State.

A gang was on Tuesday arrested in connection to tomb-raiding incidents in a Muslim Cemetery in Apete, Ibadan, Oyo State.

The arrests was confirmed by the Oyo State Commissioner of Police, Mohammed Katshina, saying a woman was also arrested.

The woman, Mrs Saki Adeniran, said she normally paid N4,000 per body part supplied. "I normally buy a human skull for N4,000," she said.
