A devastated China man, Jiang Maode, could not come to terms with the fact that his wife had departed, so he decided to keep her body in the freezer for five months so that he can talk with her everyday.

A devoted husband has decided to keep the body of his late wife in a freezer so he can talk with her everyday.
The family of the extremely distraught 53-year-old Maode, have been pleading with him to allow them cremate the body of his wife, Yang Huiging, but he has insisted that he wants her at his side for the rest of his life.
Police are said to have launched an investigation as dead bodies can only be kept for five days in China and anything beyond that is treated as a crime against the dead but Maode wants everyone to know that his wife is not dead. He claims that he promised his wife that he will keep her at home and it made her very happy.
Maode said that he talks to her for an hour every evening, and tells her what happened throughout the day.
