The husband of the female preacher murdered in Abuja has been inconsolable since the killing of his wife.
The widower of the female preacher, Deaconess Eunice Elisha Olawale, who was murdered while she was doing an early morning call to worship in Kubwa area of Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, Pastor Elisha Olawale, is yet to come to terms with the fact that his wife of 16 years and the mother of his seven children, is gone.
Olawale who is a minister at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), broke down in tears as friend, family members and well wishers trooped into his family home to condole with him.
Olawale was in tears as sympathizers gathered around him to offer their condolences, asking why his wife should be killed in such a reckless manner.
Meanwhile, an Islamic cleric has been arrested in connection with the murder of the woman. It was gathered from police sources that the Imam who is in charge of a Mosque in the area, had ordered his followers to chase the woman away while she was preaching but the youths took laws into their hands and rather, stoned the harmless woman to death.
