Beyonce Bags 8 Nominations At 2014 MTV Video Music Awards
Queen Bey, Eminem and Iggy Azalea could be heading home with more than two trophies from the forthcoming music show down
Closely following behind Bey is VMA veteran and best selling rapper, Eminem as well as VMA newcomer, Iggy Azalea pulling off an impressive 7 nominations.
the good news is both Beyonce (12 total career wins) and Eminem (11 career wins) could easily make a run for #2 on the all-time list of VMA wins(whoop!) sliding by Peter Gabriel and Lady Gaga (13) on the way to Madonna record breaking chart with 20 career wins.
Other nominees include; Jay Z, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Pharrell Williams, Ariana Grande, Lorde, Sam Smith, Zedd, Avicii, Pitbull, Jason Derulo and Hayley Williams.
The 2014 MTV Video Music Awards is scheduled to hold at the Forum in Inglewood, California, for the first time on August 24, 2014 with a show slate to include performances from Usher, 5 Seconds of Summer and Ariana Grande More artists to be announced later, according to MTV execs.
