The accused, however, pleaded not guilty while his counsel, applied for his bail, promising the court that he would not jump bail.
The prosecutor, Insp Johnson Okunade, told the court that the accused committed the offence between April and June at Ajilosun area of Ado-Ekiti.
He alleged that the accused stole the money belonging to a company, Real Great Emmab Option Concept.
According to him, the accused committed an offence contrary to and punishable under Section 390 (9) of the Criminal Code Cap C16 Vol.1 Laws of Ekiti State, 2012.
The accused, however, pleaded not guilty while his counsel, Mr Emmanuel Sunmonu, applied for his bail, promising the court that he would not jump bail.
The prosecutor prayed for adjournment to enable him peruse the case file and assemble his three witnesses.
The Magistrate, Mrs Modupe Afeniforo, granted bail to the accused in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum.
The sureties, she said, must have verifiable addresses.
She adjourned the case till July 24 for hearing.
