Nigeria's former Minister of External Affairs, Prof. Bolaji Akinyemi, must be ruing employing Paul Agbota as a domestic staff as the 29-year-old man allegedly stole his luxury watches and other accessories valued at N20 million.

Agbota who has been docked at the Ikeja Magistrate Court on a two-count charge of conspiracy and stealing, is reported to have stolen the items on April 23, 2015, at Bolaji's residence at 3, Femi Deru Close, Opebi, Lagos.

The prosecuting officer, ASP Eranus Nnamonu, told the court that Agbota conspired with others who are now at large to steal a Rolex watch valued at N11million and other watches and luxury accessories valued at N9 million, bringing the total to N20 million.

The accused pleaded not guilty to the charges preferred against him and the Magistrate, Abimbola Komolafe, granted him bail in the sum of N1million while she adjourned the case to July 9 for hearing.
