Gbesi said the accused stole the cell phone from the complainant, one Idowu Olawale, while he was about to board a commercial bus.
Olarenwaju, whose address was not given, is facing a charge of stealing.
The Prosecutor, Sgt. Chudu Gbesi, told the court that the accused committed the offence on Nov. 26, 2016 at about 2.00 p. m. at Lafenwa area, Ota, Ogun.
“The accused was seen by a passerby, who apprehended him and handed him over to the police,’’ he said.

He said the sureties should show evidence of tax payment to the Ogun State Government.
