Most people won't bat an eyelid when they see a guy going around with condoms, but for a woman, the reactions are different. See how Nigerians feel about this.

It is an established fact that Nigeria ranks very low on the Gender Equality Index, ranking 118 out of 134 countries. There is a gaping difference in the way men and women are treated in Nigeria.

Women in Nigeria face serious issues such as domestic violence, sexual abuse, child marriage and many more. A lot of these issues are regarded as the norm by many Nigerians, hence the need to reeducate Nigerians and make them unlearn the poor values they have been taught.

This is why ‘The 50/50’ campaign was developed. Courtesy of the organisers of the 50/50 campaign, Pulse strivia team interviewed both men and women across four states across Nigeria; Kano, Kaduna, Enugu and Lagos.

They were all asked the same question ''Is it okay for a woman to carry condoms around?'' Of course there were different and hilarious responses as all the people interviewed felt differently about the topic.
