Should Marijuana be legalized in Nigeria?

Since Nigeria has refused to legalize gay marriage, why not Marijuana?

 

The world as we know it is fast changing. A lot of things that were once thought illegal are now being supported, even advised. Some of them are gay marriage, and use of marijuana.

Slower than the western world though, is Nigeria in terms of accepting certain behaviours. This is because it's deep African heritage makes it more conservative in accepting certain cultures and habits that pose even the slightest health or moral hazard.

In as much as a significant population in the country are active users of Indian Hemp, marijuana, or weed as it is known on the streets, the use of the narcotic drug is still illegal.

Considering the benefits recorded in USA, it has swayed some to think it worth the try. While others are on the vehement side of ''NO!" believing its hazards outweigh its benefit.
