Readers says lack of discipline lead men to sleeping with housemaids

Pulse Nigeria Poll voters unanimously agree that indiscipline lead men to sleep with their housemaids.

This issue has been rearing its ugly head in many homes where the husbands stoop low to sleeping with their housemaids, with some even putting them in the family way and getting married to them.

A lot of Pulse readers and voters gave varying reasons why some men actually involve themselves in this act, with a majority agreeing that lack of self discipline on the part of the husband makes it possible. But many also blamed some wives who leave the maids to handle all the chores in the house, including cooking for the husbands, and this could lead to the men desiring the maids.

"Any man that cannot control dat okro between his legs can sleep wit anything in skirt; also any man dat his erection controls his direction sleeps wit anything.

Also any man who waz a fornicator before he got married will only graduate to adultery; no excuse whatsoever for sleeping with a house maid, in fact if d man is not ashamed, I am ashamed on his behalf."

"When a woman leaves all her house duties like cooking for the family, washing the husband's clothes and even dressing the bed on which both she and her husband sleeps on for the maid, what do u expect the man to do?

A married woman is supposed to always have time for her family, do some chores, cook for the family and in a situation were the maid does everything that a wife is supposed to do for her husband 4 the man, the husband will develop feelings 4 the maid.

I have seen a family where the kids prefer their maids to their mum bcos they see her everyday and every time. Ladies, pls make out time 4 ur husband and kids, plan a surprise outting, buy him gifts.

Remember, he married u nt ur maid... Ndewonu!"
