71% of Pulse Nigeria Poll voters are of the unanimous belief that Senator Remi Tinubu did the wrong thing by refusing to shake Senate President Bukola Saraki.
Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the wife of the National Leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, stirred the hornet's nest when the 8th National Assembly was inaugurated and the Senators were being sworn in.
Remi Tinubu, representing Lagos Central Senatorial Constituency, did an unexpected thing when she refused to shake the out-stretched hand of the newly elected Senate President, Bukola Saraki. That action drew the anger of Nigerians who felt she took a personal vendetta to the Senate because Saraki had defeated Ahmed Lawan who was handpicked by her husband.
Many people have been lending their voices to the debate the woman caused with many condemning her while her supporters believe there is no big deal in whether she shook Saraki's hand or not.
On Pulse Nigeria Poll therefore, this poser was put up for a vote:
A whopping 71 percent of voters believed she did the wrong thing while only 29 percent felt nothing should be made out of the incident.
How Nigeria voted:
71% - Yes, she was wrong
29% -No, she had a right to shake him or not
So how would you vote?
