The release of the names of ministerial nominees sent to the Senate by President Muhammadu Buhari still generating hot debates in different sections of the Nigerian society as many feel that they have fallen short of expectations.
Readers are not satisfied with the ministerial nominees
68% of Pulse Nigeria Poll voters definitely think the names on the ministerial list are recycled politicians and it is business as usual.
Many had thought that with the change slogan of the All Progressive Congress before sweeping aside the Peoples Democratic Party into power, there will be a clean break from the past as new faces would be seen to take over the positions but the disappointment with the list has been overwhelming.
Against the expectations of Nigerians and the belief that President Buhari would spring a surprise, many felt there was no need for all the anxiety that was created and the desire of Nigerians to break from the past as almost all the names on the list either old politicians and known supporters and financier of the APC in the run up to the elections.
