As Nigerians prepare for the 2015 general elections in a few weeks time, there are fears that the dates for the polls may be changed going by persistent calls by some section of the society for the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to postpone the elections.
Nigerians do not want INEC to postpone 2015 elections
Majority of Pulse Nigeria Poll voters do not agree that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, should postpone the 2015 general elections.
Even some presidential candidates as well as some political parties have been calling on the body to move the elections forward.
But this call does not sit well with Nigerians as many believe postponing the elections will be a call for chaos in the country.
On Pulse Nigeria Poll of 2 February, 2015, there was this poser:
80.9% of voters did not agree with the call while only 19.1% said the elections should be moved forward.
How Nigeria voted:
19.1% - Yes
80.9% - No
