Nigerians agree that politicians should go for psychiatric examination

95.2% of Pulse Nigeria Poll voters say they support motion for politicians in the country to go for psychiatric test.

Few days ago, Dr Kayode Obembe, the President of the Nigerian Medical Association, NMA, recommended that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, should make it mandatory for political office holders and those seeking elective positions in the country to go for psychiatric evaluation before they are allowed to contest.

He said this based on the way these people behave once they get into power, relegating anything good to the background while going about with impunity.

An overwhelming majority agreed that Nigerian politicians sure need such psychiatric evaluation with a whopping 95.2% voting for while just 4.8% voted against the motion.
