Watch your step as you try out this new Internet sensation

Stepping on an imaginary box is the new trend online.

The challenge is called Invisible Box Challenge.

On December 2, 2017, a cheerleader Ariel Olivar, in Manvel, Texas, USA, kick-started the trend when she showed her gravity-defying skills on Twitter.

She patted an invisible box and stepped on it without falling off. The video has been retweeted over 150,000 times and liked by over 300,000 people. The actual trend had started on a low key in 2014.

The trick is to act like you have stepped on an invisible box without falling off. As easy as it seems, it is actually tricky. While others have gotten the hang of the trick, many people end up flat on the floor.

Here are some standout invisible box challenge videos.
