Woman discovers rat snake in her home

According to Neff, the snake made its way inside her house through a hole in the laundry room which he has covered with concrete.

Laura Neff from Charlotte, North Carolina was shocked to a black snake in her house attempting to swallow an egg.

"It was a run of the mill Sunday afternoon here on our little farmette, until a noise in the kitchen made us look up... at the spice cabinet... where THIS was descending toward a basket of fresh eggs on the counter" wrote Neff online.

She then recorded the freaky incident as the snake tried to swallow a whole egg. Luckily for her, the snake- a rat snake is non-venomous, and only eats small rodents.

According to Neff, the snake made its way inside her house through a hole in the laundry room which he has covered with concrete.
