Twitter reacts to senator's appearance before code of conduct tribunal

The Senate President, Bukola Saraki, has finally appeared before the Code of Conduct Tribunal after he failed to show up on Friday and on Monday.

The Senate President, Bukola Saraki, has finally appeared before the Code of Conduct Tribunal after he failed to show up on Friday and on Monday.

Mr. Saraki failed to appear before the tribunal despite an arrest warrant issued against him.

He is being charged for alleged false declaration of assets.

Nigerians immediately took to twitter and it quickly became the top trending topic with the hashtag #SarakiOnTrial

However,the matter was adjourned to 21st and 23rd October for hearing.
