A prostitute Alix Catherine Tichelman, 27 has been sentenced to six years in prison for killing a Google executive Forrest Hayes, 51, after she injected heroin into him.

Tichelman plead guilty on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 for killing the Google Research Laboratory executive in his yacht in Santa Cruz.
The incident happened in 2013.

After pleading guilty, and accepting a plea deal the murder charge was turned into involuntary manslaughter. Tichelman also pleaded to prostitution, destruction or concealment of evidence, and the application of a controlled substance.
A surveillance video of the yacht revealed Alix did not help Hayes, and did not bother to call for help.
Her defenders said Alix did not plan to kill Hayes and insisted that the drug was consensual.
Hayes, was a married father of five children.
