The police reported that around 2.a.m, the train's horn was ringing loudly for more than 10 minutes.
Woman arrested after she tried to steal a train
A Californian woman was arrested by the police after she tried to take a parked train on a joyride.
Investigators revealed that Shawna Marone, 45, refused to exit the cab of the Burlington Northern and Santa Fe train, which was running when the police arrived.
A deputy entered the cab and arrested Marone, who allegedly told investigators she had intended to take the train for a joy ride.
Marone was booked into the High Desert Detention Center on suspicion of illegally moving a locomotive with possible injury or death. She was issued a citation and released later in the day.
The sheriff's department said deputies were still investigating whether Marone moved the train before they arrived. UPI news added.
