This isn't the case of the walking dead or a person presumed dead by his relatives only to show at his wake. The story you are about to read is the story who was the guest of honour at his wake.

In April, the 79 year old Tom Kershaw attended his wake organized by his family- the Kershaw family from Sunderland. Why did his family of five children and 13 grand children do this?

Tom Kershaw was diagnosed with Parkinson's which has been identified by doctors as being life threatning. He has had the disease for 3 and a half years.

The pensioner felt it wouldn't make sense for him to miss out on his wake. Tom Kershaw was definitely the life of the party as he was the guest of honour at his own wake.
