Law officer brutalizes bus conductor over 'Roger'

The Nigeria Police Force slogan is 'the police is your friend'. But many Nigerians do not think that slogan is apt as they point out several instances where the officers of the law do not seem friendly with 'bloody civilians'.

Many point out to instances of the police brutalizing citizens over minor issues like this photo where a police officer is dragging an hapless bus conductor on the ground.

According to eye witnesses, the conductor and his driver had refused to give the officers the normal 'Roger' (bribe), that would enable them easy passage.

The angry officers then gave the bus a chase and while the driver managed to escape, the 'stubborn' conductor was not that lucky.

So is the police really your friend?
