Security operatives in Lagos have arrested four members of a robbery gang who were said to have formed the habit of dressing in police uniforms during their operations.

Four members of a robbery gang, notorious for stealing while wearing police uniforms, have been arrested in Lagos
Julius George, Samuel Orgah, Lucky Oliseh and Lucky Friday were apprehended by police along the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway.
George, described as the leader of the gang, is said to have deceived the other men into thinking that he was actually a policeman.
He procured the uniforms for his followers and led them to steal a trailer load of rice and a tanker of engine oil amongst other things.

The men are currently undergoing investigation for making away with property running into millions of naira.
