Four fuel tankers were involved in an accident on Wednesday afternoon at the Benin Bypass
Four fuel tankers were on Wednesday afternoon involved in an accident at the Benin Bypass, Edo State.
The four tankers, all carrying the NNPC brand, collided with each other, blocking both sides of the highway.
Fortunately, no lives were lost in the accident, but one of the tankers spilled the fuel it was carrying. No fire was caused by the spill.
The recent fuel crisis all over the country has seen tankers invade the roads even more, in a bid to quickly get fuel and deliver them to customers.
Drivers are urged to be alert at all times while driving, especially around fuel tankers.
