Indian man arrested for raping 13-yr-old step daughter

An Indian man has been arrested after he raped his teenage step daughter.

 

The police in India have arrested a 35-year-old man, Kailash Bilai, for allegedly raping his 13-year-old stepdaughter, reports Indian Times.

The incident which is another in a country where rape is a daily occurrence, according to police, in the Kailoda Kankad area after the victim's mother went out for work and the girl was alone with her new husband, Bilai and two other siblings.

Lasudia Police spokesperson, Pradeep Singh Ranawat, said:

"The complainant had married the accused after her first husband abandoned her. She had gone to a nearby industry for work, when the accused is said to have sexually assaulted her daughter from her first husband.

The man was arrested and medical examination of the girl was conducted at MY hospital."
