Monarch forced to exile for promoting cultism

The traditional ruler disappeared from the community after the police invited him for questioning at their base.

Cultism has become a major headache for Nigerian security forces

His involvement was confirmed by CSP Jonathan Acha, a police officer of Ovwian Divisional Police Headquarter.

He said, "The traditional ruler has been responsible for the cult matters we have in Orhunwhorhun. We invited him but he refused to honour our calls and so, we went after him. Since then, we have not seen him."

According to the Daily Post News, a member of the Orhunwhorhun vigilante known as Ghetto killed a youth in a hotel in the area.

This adds credence to the allegation leveled against the monarch.
