Soldier beats BRT driver
An unidentified soldier was captured on camera assaulting a BRT driver at Iyana Ipaja area of Lagos, today, June 24, 2015.
This singular act of the soldier's excesses caused a traffic gridlock as other vehicles were unable to pass because the bus was parked in the middle of the road.
Some persons took to Twitter to criticise the soldier for his indiscipline.
Soldiers have a track record of attacking BRT drivers.
This is not the first time a soldier will be having a violent encounter with a BRT driver, some soldiers reportedly went on rampage, burning BRT buses and grounding human and vehicular movements along Ikorodu road, Lagos, following allegations that a commercial bus belonging to the Lagos state government ran over one of them, and killed him at the Palmgrove bus stop. This was in May 2014.
