“Nothing Can Happen To Me; I Am A Spirit” - Majek Fashek

, who was at one time the most popular reggae musician in the country, nay Africa, has come out to tell anyone worrying about his health situation, to stop worrying about him as he is now a spirit, (Orisha), and that nothing can ever happen to him.

The reggae legend who became larger than life in the early 80s with his hit song, , has been battling issues related with his due to the alleged use of drugs and at times, had to be chained and taken to rehabilitation homes, believes he is even saner than those trying to help him. Majek, who once compared himself to JesusChrist, told Pulse.ng, at a chance meeting, that he is currently working on a

“I’m okay. Whoever says that I’m not okay is actually the one that should check himself. As for me, I have become an Orisha, (spirit or semi-god), so nothing can happen to me. I know what I’m doing. See, people must talk. But they make you more popular; that is the truth.

“You cannot fight the press, you cannot fight the media. They are the ones that will tell the people what is going on, so I cannot fight the media.”

So people, stop worrying about a spirit and worry about yourself. I rest my case.
