'My wife lied to me she was a virgin'

Jerry wants to divorce his wife after just six months of marriage because she lied to him that she was a virgin when they were dating.

The reason for my disillusionment stems from the fact that my wife, , lied to me that she was a virgin when we met and till we got married.

But after we got married, I found out that she was not even close to being a virgin but very experienced in the sex game who had had many sexual partners in the past.

I met Martha when she started worshiping in our church where I was the head usher. Our church doctrine is such that you had to inform the pastor if you were interested in a woman and such relationships must always lead to marriage or it would not be approved.

When Martha came to join the church, her zeal was so great as she joined almost all the departments and was always a reference point.

One thing that stood her out was her carriage and charisma and many of us guys were scared of getting close to her but I summoned the courage and made my intentions known to her.

I also informed the pastor that I wanted to marry her and thus began our courtship. In the course of our courtship, Martha told me she was a virgin and wanted to remain so until her wedding night.

I was pleasantly surprised that a mature, beautiful and brilliant lady like that would remain a virgin despite the temptation out there and that made me even love her the more and hasten our marriage plans.

We got married after five months of courtship but I was shocked on our first night when I discovered that my wife was not what she claimed she was. Not that I would have minded but that lie alone has really put me off her and I don't think I can ever trust her again.

She has confessed that she only lied to me because she thought I only wanted to use and dump her like other men in the past but how can I live with a woman who manipulated me into marrying her?
