Students of the Musical Society of Nigeria (MUSON) have once again passionately thrilled music lovers with vocal renditions, various musical instruments and a demonstration of their musical mastery.

Guests at the event were transported into musical bliss as the students played some contemporary Nigerian tunes with their classical musical instruments.

The event which held at the Agip Recital Hall was organized by MUSON to appreciate their top level donors for the year 2016.

Speaking at the event, Director MTN Foundation, Mr. Dennis Okoro said “at MTN Nigeria and MTN Foundation, we exist to make life brighter by inspiring, transforming and empowering the societies we operate in. This is why we go above and beyond to ensure we provide valuable opportunities to enable our future generation soar and reach greater heights. Mrs. Marion Akpata, Director Musical Society of Nigeria, also thanked MTN Foundation for supporting the institution over the years. “MTN Foundation has been our backbone and one of our major benefactors. With their great support, 9 sets have graduated from the school at no cost and with diplomas in music. We definitely owe them a great debt and that is why we are using this concert to say thank you.”

MTN Foundation currently sponsors the highly competitive MUSON Scholars programme which endows talented students with a grant to study music at the prestigious institution.
