A man was arrested for allegedly pouring hot sauce and ranch dressing on his girlfriend, before trying to put her in the oven.
In the house they shared he reportedly subjected her to a litany of abuse, including punching, kicking and stabbing her with a kitchen knife, as well as holding her for several hours against her will.
He then poured the sauces over her and tried to force her into the oven, according to the arrest report.
Castellanos was only able to fit his girlfriend’s feet into the oven, however it is not known if it was switched on.
During the struggle the woman managed to escape briefly and call for the police, who promptly arrived and arrested Castellanos.
The girlfriend told police that Castellanos even attacked her pet dog during the incident.
They reportedly found the girlfriend ‘bloody and bruised’, and have arrested Castellanos on suspicion of aggravated kidnapping, aggravated assault, aggravated cruelty to animals and intentional criminal mischief.
