Fresh reports have revealed that Chuddy Ugorji may not own MMM but has gained almost as much so far.
Although many have confessed to making millions off the platform, for the likes of Chuddy Ugorji, their profits may have run into billions.
Ugorji who is reportedly the number one guider of the platform was alleged to have been behind the Ponzi scheme, claims which he quickly put to rest with an open letter.
Speculations have it that Ugorji may have made as much as N1 billion in the last one year.
Ugorji shared his testimony on the MMM website, revealing how he got millions of Naira from people who helped him.
A screenshot even showed that Ugorji got as much as N6m at a point.
Ugorji is said to have joined MMM’s global platform in 2015 and has been one of its most spirited promoters in Nigeria ever since.
Photographs from Ugorji's church wedding which took place at the Elshadai Covenant Church, Abule-Egba, Lagos recently emerged online, proving beyond doubt that this feared Ponzi scheme has turned his life for the better.
His lovely wife, Chiamaka, who has also been a spirited defender of MMM’s credibility consistently shared posts on her Facebook, assuring participants that their investments were safe.
Ugorji’s wedding was reportedly attended by celebrities and other guiders of MMM.
The lavish wedding was reportedly MMM-themed with guests wearing MMM-crested sashes, while even the couple's cake bore the MMM logo.
Ugorji's position in the MMM community was finally revealed following a post on his Facebook page that himself and his wife were gifted with a brand new Hyundai Crete SUV at their wedding.
The post he shared on November 13, read:
“Thank you to our wonderful family, friends and great MMM community for your love, support and generosity. Our wedding day was indeed made so much memorable because of your presence and your blessings, MMM Guiders surprised me with a brand new Hyundai Crete SUV Jeep as a wedding gift may God bless you all for me."
Despite Ugorji's open letter, many Nigerians are holding on to their beliefs that he brought MMM to Nigeria.
So far, Ugorji has placed the blame for the frozen MMM accounts at the footsteps of the media that seem to have been creating a frenzy amongst participants.
