Another strange birth has occurred in Rivers State where a woman who had carried a pregnancy for three years was delivered of a puppy.

According to Kukang Joseph who witnessed the strange incident, the woman said to be an indigene of Akwa Ibom State, had gone to the church for a deliverance and after a spiritual battle, she was delivered of the strange animal she had been carrying for many years.

Joseph whose Facebook profile says he is the Rivers State Secretary of the Nigeria Labour Congress [NLC], posted the news on his page, narrating how the incident happened.

Read what Joseph posted:

"#END TIME STORY, HAPPENED LIVE IN BORI TODAY

I witnessed live today at BMGS, Bori Main Gate. An Akwa Ibom woman who had been pregnant for 3 years, came for a church deliverance in a ministry owned by a young prophet from Akwa Ibom State and gave birth to a live dog.

It occurred that while in warfare prayers, a revelation came that the mother-in-law had charmed her and replaced her child with a live dog.

That's the puppy in the pics with the woman on the bike, covered with a wrapper.

I personally advised that she should be covered to avoid stigmatization and shame because the crowd was much to look and took snapshots. The dog refused to be burnt even after several hours of applying fuel and firewood."

Another witness, Don Kpiriyor, a student, also took to Facebook to confirm the story with this post:

"What a wicked world! A lady gave birth to a dog today at BMGS Bori; I saw it. You can see a huge crowd of people that were there."

This is not the first time such a strange birth has been witnessed in Nigeria. Early this year, in February to be precise, residents of Rumuowha Eneka community in Port Harcourt, the capital of the state were thrown into shock and fright after a woman who had been carrying a three-year-old pregnancy allegedly gave birth to a goat.

According to an eyewitness Simeon Chukwu who posted the incident on his Facebook wall, the woman was delivered of the goat after a prayer and fasting period at a branch of the Redeemed Christian Church of God [RCCG], at the Karaka Community Hall in the area.

Also, on Monday, July 11, 2016, the people of Jettu, a community in Edo State, also witnessed a strange birth when a pregnant woman put to bed a beast-like baby at the Hope Hospital, in the area.

According to reports, the newborn baby had features of a frog with the head almost totally sunk into the upper part of the body and with extraordinarily large eyeballs literally popping out of the eye-sockets.
