A fatal accident which claimed an unspecified number of lives was recorded early this morning around the Yaba axis of the Third Mainland Bridge where a commercial bus, popularly called Danfo, heading towards the Lagos Island, collided with another vehicle and somersaulted several times.

Another fatal accident has occurred at the Third Mainland Bridge, claiming an unspecified number of lives.
Scene of the accident
Though it could not be ascertained number of the dead in the accident, some eyewitnesses said more than five people could have lost their lives while many others sustained various degrees of injuries.
