Life After Ball: Kanu Nwankwo Takes To Twitter!

Living on the sidelines, away from the lure and glare of the public eye is pure bliss. Or so the celebrities say. But you can’t always trust their words, can you? Guess not.

One celebrity who's a countrywide darling and can offer his trusted word on a tweet has just given us a direct link,  and he is retired Super Eagles legend Kanu Nwankwo, who’s upped and joined Twitter.

Papilo Kanu made his debut on the social networking site, with a verified account and we can’t help but shout out loud:

Welcome Kanu! We love you.

Here are his debut tweets which show that even if he's quite the beautiful game,  he still does know how to score a gentle opening tweet.
