19-yr-old girl goes missing in Ondo State
The young girl, who is still studying at a secondary school in the state, never returned home after an errand to the bank.
According to her father, Mr. Bola Abdulkareem, the girl was abducted by a commercial motorcyclist, on her way home from the bank on July 1, 2016.
Daily Post reported that the man has only had one opportunity to speak to his child’s abductor, who has demanded any ransom for her release.
“Up till now, I have not heard from her again and her abductor has not demanded for any ransom”, he said.
Although the matter has been reported to the Owo Police “A” Division, no action has been taken on the matter as at the time of this report.
Mr. Oluwole Fabiyi, the Divisional Police Officer in Owo, told newsmen that the police is still expecting a report from the family of the girl before they could begin a search.
