LASTMA official brutalized by soldiers

A LASTMA official was beaten up by two soldiers because he did not clear a road for them to ride past.

The brutalized Lastma official

Few days ago, a young lawyer was shot and almost beaten to death by soldiers just because he had the effrontery to tell them to do the right thing so that a road which had become blocked could free up.

Today, it was the turn of an official of the Lagos State Traffic Management Agency (LASTMA), who fell a victim of the ruthless soldiers as they pounced on him.

According to an Instagram user with the handle @igbeaby, the LASTMA official was controlling traffic along a road in Lagos when the soldiers who were on a motorcycle, got caught in the snarl and felt the official did not give them priority by clearing the road for them to drive past.

This apparent insolence got the military officers angry and they swooped on the Lagos traffic official and beat him up, leaving him with serious injuries.
