Father douses daughter with kerosene, sets her on fire

The victim identified as, Elomachukwu Agbara, disclosed that her father, Ifeanyi Agbara, had poured kerosene on her and set her on fire for returning from her tailors place late.

The victim identified as, Elomachukwu Agbara, disclosed that her father, Ifeanyi Agbara, had poured kerosene on her and set her on fire for returning from her tailors place late.

When asked why he had set his daughter on fire, Mr Agbara had said:

"She had been out of the house and we asked her to come inside the house, she refused. So we poured Kerosene on her and that was it. It was when she wanted to run away. Nobody used matches on her, it was a lighter."

Mr Agbara reportedly showed little or no remorse for his supposed disciplinary actions, also trying to deny the fact that he had set Elomachukwu on fire.

It is unclear if the case was reported to the police or if an arrest was made.
