Mr. Shah, a 40-year old Pakistani, was attacked with a knife, and his head viciously stamped upon outside his corner shop, hours after he had posted a commendable message on Facebook saying; ‘A very happy Easter to my beloved Christian nation’.
About £18,000 raised for family of slain muslim shopkeeper who was ‘murdered in religiously prejudiced attack’
A GoFundMe page set up to raise money for Mr. Shah’s family has reached almost £18,000, as people sympathetically gave in memory of the genial shopkeeper who was murdered in Glasgow on Good Friday's eve.
The Devout Muslim had really hoped to reach out to Christians in order to understand the essence of easter, and was even due to host a Google hangout before he was brutally murdered last thursday.
