Gunmen intercept commercial vehicle, kidnapped 14 passengers

When contacted concerning the development, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Nnamdi Omoni, told newsmen that he was yet to receive any notice regarding the stolen travelers.

Kidnapping

Daily Post reports that the vehicle was heading from Port Harcourt to Omoku in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area of the state when the incident happened.

It was gathered that the kidnappers, after ordering their captives to get out of their vehicle, burnt it down and transferred them to their own vehicle.

No information has been provided by the state security operatives in respect to the incident.

When contacted concerning the incident, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Nnamdi Omoni, told newsmen that he was yet to receive any notice regarding the stolen travelers.

He however gave assurances that he will speak about it when he has been fully briefed.
