The community of Amese in Akure, capital of Ondo state are still in shock after the discovering the headless body of a full grown man beside a prayer mountain.
According to Punch Metro, nobody could attest to when the yet to be identified person was murdered but the incident was discovered on Thursday by the worshippers who went to the mountain to pray.

The matter was immediately reported to the nearest police station, and it was also gathered that resident have fled from their homes due to unlawful detainment by the Nigerian police since the incident occurred.
“After the matter had been reported at the Ijapo Police Station, the policemen combed the entire area, arresting residents indiscriminately. Those that went to report at the police station were also detained by the police. The police said the arrest of the people was part of their investigation.” Says a resident.
Confirming the incident by the Police Public Relations Officer of the state command, Mr. Femi Joseph he said full investigation was ongoing to find out who might have carried out such a horrible act, he also denied the arrest of residents indiscriminately.
