Man reportedly assaulted by political thugs

Reports reveal that about 10 thugs affiliated with an undisclosed political party reportedly attacked the victim identified as Eng. Hope.

Reports reveal that about 10 thugs affiliated with an undisclosed political party reportedly attacked the victim identified as Eng. Hope.

It is speculated that Eng. Hope was attacked due to his refusal to manipulate the INEC Continuous Voters Registration exercise in his ward at Ekpoma, Edo State.

The exercise took place today, Sunday, June 26, after which Eng. Hope suffered this terrible fate at the hands of the unidentified thugs.

The assault left him with a broken head and swollen eye among other lacerations and cuts.
