Dad sues three daughters for abandonment

The man named Yang Zhengyuan, aged 69, who hails from Sichuan province in China has reportedly filed a lawsuit in March this year, which claims that his daughters do not come home or give him financial aid enough.

A Chinese man is reportedly seeing his three daughters for abandonment after refusing to return home to see him frequently.

The man named Yang Zhengyuan, aged 69, who hails from Sichuan province in China has reportedly filed a lawsuit in March this year, which claims that his daughters do not come home or give him financial aid enough.

The development comes after Shanghai made the announcement giving parents the right to sue their children if they refuse to visit them, giving them a bad credit rating.

People's Daily Online reports that the father-of-three claims that his daughters have not come home or supported him enough in the past 10 years.

However, Zhengyuan's daughters identified as, Yang Liu, Yang Qing and Yang Lan, have reportedly issued a counter suit, claiming that their father is guilty of domestic violence and favouritism, preferring boys over girls.

Yang Liu goes on to claim that her father had once beat her in her own office after she had failed to provide the money he had demanded of her, while Yang Qing makes a claim of her own, disclosing how her father had being while she was pregnant.

"When I was a few months pregnant, he pulled my hair and beat me. Even if he wins the case, we would lose our affection."

The sisters have according to reports, provided documents showing balance of transfers made to their father. Their mother, Xiao Lu, admits to the fact that her husband favours male kids over females despite the fact that their five children are girls.

Xiao Lu also disclosed that Zhengyuan was prone to domestic violence and had beat her while they lived together.

Zhengyuan has also been accused of showing no interest in the personal affairs of his daughters including education, marriage and career.

Although the dad has admitted to the fact that he could have contributed more to his family, he continues to deny the reports that he abandoned his family.

The case has been charged to court and is yet to be decided upon.
