5 years and still counting, this Hollywood power couple are madly in love with each other

Grammy winner Mariah Carey, 43, and husband/actor Nick Cannon, 33, are still in love on the cover of the new February 2014 issue of Ebony Magazine and say thanks to spirituality, their 5 year marriage is still on fire.

The couple married in 2008 and renewed their vows on their 5 anniversary in May and still appeared very much in love with each other despite the huge age difference. Nick Cannon revealed to Ebony Magazine that it was his wife’s love for religion that caught his attention in the first place, “It was early on when I found out how spiritual she was, and we had conversations about kids and how to live life. For her to share these values, it instantly let me know this is the person I’ve always wanted.”

Both posed together for the cover of the publication in matching red outfit. Nick chose a suit while Mariah smoldered in a low-cut dress as they got close in a pool.

Meanwhile, the diva also opened up about her children stating that the girl – Monroe is closely taking after her, “The other night I had on a ruby and diamond necklace and earrings. Ms. Monroe looked at me and said, "Where's my necklace?"’, she said

According to UK DailyMail, they are happy to share pictures of their adorable children on social media, Nick insists the twins won't be child stars.

'Me personally, I wouldn’t put my kids on television. But to each his own. Most aspiring child actors or child stars have a passion for it.

But as easy as it is for me to say that I wouldn't put my kids in it, if I saw that they really really wanted to do and they had the drive, then I would fully support it. As long as there’s balance at home, then they could do whatever they wanted to do.’

Nick and Mariah have been working hard to keep the romance alive in their marriage. They lived out a fairy-tale wedding at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California in May as they renewed their vows on their fifth anniversary and celebrated the twins' second birthday.
